Rosa & James
I had such a great time with Rosa & James at their engagement shoot. I had met them while I was shooting one of their really close friends wedding. So it felt like we had already known each other forever. We decided to do their engagement shoot in the St. Lawrence Market neighborhood because of the amazing variation of locations it has to offer. We started with Novotel and finished out side of the Gooderham building where they fearlessly danced in the middle of traffic. How sweet is Rosa's custom made denim jacket though!?
Melissa & Alex
Melissa & Alex’s wedding was held at the Steamwhistle Brewery. They had a live band that played many fan faves, and beautiful acoustic covers. Live music is always a win. Their clean, and elegant rustic decor was incredible. The tall florals were notable, and they had great personalized touches (like the table signs,) that really pulled it all together.
One of my favourite things about Melissa & Alex is their LOVE of red wine. Every meeting was coupled with a glass, or two, or a bottle to share. It was a pleasure meeting their friends, and family on their day and it was quickly evident that they enjoy being surrounded by the people in their life that mean the most. They not only had a large wedding party, but the reception that felt like a bunch of friends coming together to celebrate. It was an epic party.
Emily & Marcus
We shot Emily & Marcus's engagement shoot down at Scarborough Bluffs. I met both of them when they were in the bridal party of Emily's sister's wedding that I shot back in 2017. Marcus was a little scared of the camera at first but that didn't stop them from looking like Laguna Beach models within moments. They were absolute troopers with their shoes off running around in the freezing water. To finish off the shoot, Emily's dad even gave us a sweet old vintage bike that he had in his garage. We found an awesome little pathway covered in tree's and had a ton of fun. Can't wait to shoot their big day and see the whole fam again!
